I created this blog Hop to help me stay motivated to continue to work out on a regular basis.  However, over the past week I did not stick with my goal of working out or going for a run at least five days during the week.  Life happened and my role as a mom took up most of my time. I am not progressing like I should on my health and fitness goals. When I returned home late last Wednesday night, January 15, from visiting my dad for his birthday, three of my kids were sick with the Norovirus. This is a highly contagious virus that causes you to throw up and have diarrhea. I spent all day last Thursday cleaning and sanitizing my home while tending to my ill children. The next day my kids felt much better and they returned to school.Friday night I caught the virus and was sick in bed until Sunday morning.  Sunday and Monday were spent getting caught up with housework. Tuesday my spouse left for a conference and I have been busy taking care of my five children ever since.  I have been lazy with my workouts. The temperatures out here are going to be close to 40 degrees this weekend so I am going to make a point to go for a run on Saturday and Sunday.  I need to get back in shape. I promise I will not slack off this next week. Here are some terrific fitness quotes.  They help encourage me to work out and take care of my health. I hope they will help you too.
